Built to last, not for the showroom
The bearings are sealed. The motor is a 24 V brushless. The housing is high-impact ABS that will not yellow under sunlight. The pieces inside the unit are the ones that fail in a household over years of use — and they are the ones we picked first.
You will not find proprietary cartridges, locked accessories, or feature-gated firmware. The unit works the same on day 4,800 as it does on day one.

Litter, bags, and what to avoid
Use any clumping litter — clay, tofu, pine, walnut, crystal. Avoid non-clumping or silica beads that do not bind into clumps. Any 13-gallon drawstring trash bag will fit the drawer. No proprietary parts, no subscription, ever.
Shipping and delivery
Ships free in the US. Tracked. Your delivery estimate appears at checkout before payment. Customs and duties for international orders are not yet supported; we ship US only.
Returns and warranty
90 days in-home trial. If your cat will not use it, we send the prepaid return label and refund the full amount including original shipping. 1-year warranty on parts and labor. You call. A human picks up. We send the part or replace the unit.

How big is this unit and where does it fit?
23 in wide, 26 in deep, 30 in tall. About the size of a small side cabinet. The drawer pulls forward, not up — so you do not need clearance above the unit.
Does it really work with any clumping litter?
Yes. Clay, tofu, pine, walnut, crystal — anything that clumps. We do not sell a proprietary one and we never will.
How loud is it?
24 dB at one meter. About the volume of a refrigerator humming in the next room. You will not hear it from the bedroom.
How long is the warranty really?
1 year included on every BeCat — parts and labor. Extend to 4 years for $100 at checkout. The phone number is on the homepage.
What if my cat will not use it?
Keep the old box running alongside for two to three weeks during transition. The refusal rate drops below 2%. If the cat still will not use it after 90 days, prepaid return label, full refund.
Is there a subscription or proprietary litter?
No. No subscription, ever, and it works with any standard clumping litter. Nothing proprietary.
What about kittens or very small cats?
The safety sensors register reliably from 7.5 lbs. Below that, we recommend a standard box until the kitten reaches weight.
How is this different from the other BeCat models?
The 01 is the flagship: largest drawer, app monitoring, multi-cat. The other eight boxes are real choices for households with different sizes, budgets, and accessibility needs. Every box ships with the same warranty.
